Todi

Party games and learning for kids

Todi — VR nine (VR9)

About the project

Todi (formerly Fun Platform) is a platform for party games and children's learning. The host only needs one big screen — everyone else joins from their own phone by scanning a QR code, with nothing to install and no sign-up required.

The games section holds six titles: Crocodile (charades) for acting words out, Hangman for guessing a word letter by letter, Memory for matching card pairs, a Jeopardy-style quiz where the host puts questions on the big screen, plus Quiz and Drawing, which need no host at all — everyone who joins simply plays.

The learning section is built for kids who are just starting to read: an age-based knowledge check, word cards (126 illustrated cards with audio and translation, with a selectable language level), the Russian alphabet with syllables and reading by syllables, and the Spanish alphabet with first words.

A shared catalog brings games and learning materials together — both built-in and user-uploaded — with search and filters by type, subject and popularity. Teachers get a section of their own: a catalog of tutors for languages, math, physics and other subjects, with classes, materials and assignments. Signing in with Google unlocks running classes, building your own decks and keeping progress.

Todi works as an installable web app (PWA): add it to a phone home screen and it opens without a browser address bar and keeps working offline.
